An ammunition type exclusively used for sniper rifles. Similar to other small arms ammunition, it deals no damage to structures.
This ammo type was removed in Update 0.48 and the weapons that used them replaced with 7.62mm.
Production
8.5mm is produced in a Mass Production Factory or a Factory in the Small Arms category. Each crate produces 10 clips of ammunition.

Trivia
- 8.5mm was exclusively used in Sniper Rifles, and no other rifles.
- The official reason 8.5mm was removed was to streamline the logistical pipeline and allow sniper rifles to be used more on the battlefield.
