— In-game description |
A Critically Wounded Soldier (a.k.a. "CWS") is a large item that has a chance to spawn when a player dies.
Uses
As a Large Item, it can be picked up by pressing V
. It can be submitted into a structure's or Ambulance's inventory by pressing V
or with the Submit Large Item
button in the vehicle or structure interface.
The CWS can either look like a Warden or Colonial soldier lying on their left side. It is never bloody and never shows equipment unlike a Wounded Player.
When submitted to a Field Hospital or Hospital they can be slowly converted into Soldier Supplies by clicking the Submit Patient
button. Each CWS is processed independently.
Structure | Input(s) | Output | Time |
---|---|---|---|
Field Hospital | 1 x Critically Wounded Soldier | 5 x Soldier Supplies | 00:10:00 |
Hospital | 1 x Critically Wounded Soldier | 5 x Soldier Supplies | 00:10:00 |
Production
Whenever a player dies, there's a chance that a Critically Wounded Soldier will spawn on the ground instead of a corpse. If a Critically Wounded Soldier is not picked up after 1 minute, it will disappear.
Storage
Critically Wounded Soldier does not stack in inventories (1 per slot).
It cannot be stored in any stockpile.
It is a Large Item, a soldier can only carry one at a time on their shoulder slot.
Ambulances are the only vehicle that can transport them.
Tips
- While carrying a Critically Wounded Soldier, players can climb over obstacles like fences, sandbags or out from trenches
- If a player dies while carrying a Critically Wounded Soldier, it will drop into their backpack
- If the carrier tries to swim, the Critically Wounded Soldier is automatically dropped
- Be careful not to confuse Critically Wounded Soldiers and Wounded Players, as CWS are considered items. A CWS can be distinguished from a corpse or a Wounded Player as they are always lying on their left side and are not covered in blood. A wounded player will always have the player's name above them.
