The BMS - Fabricator. An upgraded Construction Vehicle, which is capable of constructing/deconstructing/upgrading various defenses typically done by a player with a Hammer or Shovel. |
AI | Artificial Intelligence | A type of base upgrade that enables unmanned defenses to turn on. When a base has AI available, certain bunker defenses and buildings will be activated, allowing unmanned defenses to shoot/retaliate against enemies when they are in range. |
ALUV/ AUV | Amphibious Light Utility Vehicle | Light Utility Vehicle
The Drummond Loscann 55c . A Warden-exclusive LUV capable of ferrying passengers across waterways, similar to APCs and their amphibious capabilities. |

AT | Anti-Tank | Anti-Tank Weapons
Equipment that's capable of destroying an armored vehicle. These can refer to Anti-Tank Rifle, Anti-Tank RPG, Anti-Tank Sticky Bomb, and other weaponry. |

The 20 Neville Anti-Tank Rifle . A Warden AT Rifle that shoots 20mm ammunition, which is capable of damaging lightly armored vehicles. |

The Warden-exclusive Field Mortar, a two-person wheeled gun that fires 250mm shells (the same as the Colonial-exclusive Ballista tank, hence the name). |

The Lance-25 “Hasta” . A Colonial Battle Tank equipped with a hull-mounted 94.5mm main cannon. Unlike other Battle Tanks, it is not equipped with a secondary armament. |
Builder | Vague Player Role | A player whose primary goal is to reinforce an area with defenses, such as pillboxes, barbed wire, sandbags, walls, bunkers and trenches. They are capable of being augmented with tools that make their job easier. |

A Neutral player or Regiment (also known as a Clan) that typically switches between the two factions intermediately. Does not hold much loyalty to any particular faction. |
Nebelwerfer | Field Launcher | Field Launcher
The Rycker 4/3-F Wasp Nest . It is nicknamed this due to its similarity to the real world Nebelwerfer rocket artillery. |
Nuke | Ballistic Rocket | A0E-9 Rocket
An [[A0E-9 Rocket] that is launched by players from a A0E-9 Rocket Platform, which is capable of permanently destroying anything within an 80 meter radius of the impact point. The Rocket does not contain radioactive material, meaning the impact area can be entered without any special equipment. |
OBS / Obs | Observation Tower/Observation Bunker | Intel Structure
Refers to the Observation Tower or the Observation Bunker. The observation bunker gathers intelligence in a radius of up to 216 meters depending on tier and garrison modifications, if it is powered by an Engine Room. It allows players inside it to see up to 230 meters away regardless of tier or power. It can only be built on bunkers that are connected to a bunker base with the Observation Bunkers upgrade. The observation tower is a world structure that gathers intelligence in a 30° arc and 500m radius. It can be entered and rotated by any player of the faction that built it. |
OCDT Syndrome | Officer Cadet Syndrome | Player Stereotype
A player, who considers their current knowledge and plans immune to scrutiny, while ignoring/dismissing input from other sources. The motive for doing so is open to interpretation. Example: A player drives a Flatbed with a Shipping Container towards a bunker. Despite strong suggestions from others, the player exclaims, "I'm going to supply that bunker with 60 crates!" |

An octagonal trench in which Emplaced Weapons can be placed using a crane. While in a trench, emplaced weapons have quadrupled health and doubled rotation speed, but are destroyed if the trench is destroyed. |
Partisan | Player Role | Player actions occurring outside of friendly territory. These actions may disrupt, delay, or destroy opposing factions efforts and assets. As well as, intelligence gathering (Ex. Listening Kit deployment). |

Quickly-formed team(s) of players with the sole goal of responding to potential invasions, enemy Partisans or scouts. They are the first line of defense for any hostile activity near/in friendly territory. It can also be used to respond to major attacks on a frontline where manpower is needed. |

The refined form of rare metals, a resource used to build large ships as well as the A0E-9 rocket. |
Random | Random Player | Type of Player
A term used by people in regiments to refer to people not in a regiment. Alternatively used by a person in a regiment to refer to another person in a regiment, but that regiment is not widely known. |
RB | Relic Base | Garrison Structure
A Relic Base, which is a World Base that is (majority of the time) not a part of a Town area. Operates very similarly to a Town Base, but doesn't include Base Upgrades pertaining to Logistical Structures or Garrisoned Houses. |
RG | Rifle Garrison | Defense Structure
A Rifle Garrison An AI bunker structure that will attack enemies |
RP | Rifle Pillbox | Defense Structure
The Rifle Pillbox. An AI defense used to prevent enemies from attacking in a 360 degree area. |
RDZ | Rapid Decay Zone | Game Mechanic
The Decay zone within 150 meters from a border (with some exceptions in certain areas). It is not preventable and only accelerates the decay timer. |
RE.MATs / Rel.MATs | Relic Materials | Rare Resources
Relic Materials. These are special materials used to produce Relic Vehicles during Relic War events and are obtained from Wreckage. These do not spawn during regular World Conquests. |
Reset/Tap | Tactic | The full reconstruction of a destroyed enemy Base (either a World Base or a Bunker Base), resetting its upgrades and tier. The base must be destroyed (showing as a white icon on the map), then rebuilt with any type of Construction Vehicle, requiring the necessary materials for a full rebuild. Resetting reduces the contained supplies to 25% of their original amount, removes all Soldier Supplies, Maintenance Supplies, and resets its Base Upgrades. NOTE: Prior to Update 1.52, Taps just required the blueprint of a structure to be placed in order to reset its upgrades. These tactics were especially dangerous for Logi Hubs and stocked Stockpiles at frontlines, as it could hinder logistics, and potentially set back progress for a minimum of two days (in order to get the 'Industry' upgrade fully unlocked). |

The Storm Cannon. A large player-made stationary artillery piece that can fire shells into other regions. Requires power in order to be fired. |

A type of raw resource that can only be obtained at Salvage Fields and Salvage Mines. |
Scrapper/Scrooper | Raw Resources Miner | Player Role
A player that concentrates their efforts in harvesting raw resources (e.g. harvesting Salvage, Coal, Components, or Sulfur) and either storing it in nearby containers for other players to pick them up, or to transport it to a nearby Refinery or Facility and refine them. |

Refers to Soldier Supplies, which are supplies consumed at Bases in order to respawn players. |

A Town Base (usual a capital of a region) that counts towards the World Conquest victory conditions. |
WC | World Conquest | Game Mode
The main game mode of Foxhole. Usually used in reference to a specific war (i.e. World Conquest 100 referred to as "WC100") |
WT | Watchtower | Intel Structure
A Watchtower, which is a buildable structure that is used to gather map intelligence over a certain area. |
