A Metal Beam is a Large Material used to build metal beam defenses like Tank Traps. It can only be carried one by one on the Player's shoulder.

Use
They can be used to build Tank Traps, Field Bridges, Navy Piers, and Bridge modifications on Trenches. To build with them, equip them and press B to open the building menu, then select an option and rotate the blueprint with Right Click and place it with Left Click. When the blueprint is placed, submit your large materials with Left Click, and bring more large materials until completion.
They are also used to partially repair large holes on Large Ships caused by Torpedoes.
Handling
As Large Items, a soldier can only carry one at a time, on their shoulder. You can press V to either pick one from the ground, drop one, or submit one to a nearby structure. You can force drop one by pressing Shift + V.
Storage
Individual Metal Beam do not stack in inventories but they can be stored in the stockpiles of Material Pallets, Material Transfer Stations, Small Flatbed Car, Rooster - Tumblebox Trailer, and Storage Rooms. Metal Beam crates can also be directly submitted to those stockpiles. Individual Metal Beams cannot be packed back into crates.
