The Warden army relies on outriders to provide and receive vital intelligence. Their gear is sturdy and well-suited for extended operations in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
Outrider's Mantle In-game description

The Outrider's Mantle is the Warden Scout Uniform. It is designed to give the wearer a higher chance of not being detected on the map. It is useful for scouting enemy positions, either for partisan activities, or gathering intel of enemy defenses.

It is designed to aid the soldier in various activities in enemy backlines, either for partisan actions (disrupting areas of logistical importance), or scouting enemy defenses (aiding the team in planning future attacks of enemy defenses). When the player is inside the range of any Map Intelligence source (Watch Tower, Radio Backpack, etc...), the uniform gives the player an 80% chance of not being revealed during each scan and thus not appearing on the map, even for your own faction.

The uniform has 5 inventory slots, with Medical items, such as Bandages, and Blood Plasma, being able to stack (2 per slot). Unlike the standard soldier's uniform, Light Kinetic Ammo do not stack in it except for 8mm and .44 (3 per slot).

The Outrider's Mantle also provides the wearer a low resistance to Snow Storms, with a 1.75x protection (same protection as the Colonial's Snow Uniform). This means soldiers have a higher chance of surviving a snow storm compared to standard soldiers.

Upon death, this uniform is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered. Warden players are unable to equip any uniform that belongs to the Colonials, and vice versa.

Its most distinctive features are the small messenger bag, the sash/horseshoe pack wrapped around the torso, and the soft kepi fieldcap, which replaces the standard Warden helmet.

Contrary to a popular belief, standing under several intelligence sources at the same time with a scout uniform equipped does NOT increase the chance of being detected, an intelligence scan is global and you are either under intelligence or not.

Storage

It does not stack in structure or vehicle inventories (1 per slot). It can only be stored in the stockpile of Bases (32k max).
Crates of Outrider's Mantle can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content. The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots. However it is much more efficient to transport it in bulk amounts as crates, either delivering them to a Base's stockpile with a Truck or to a crate stockpile with shipping vehicles carrying Shipping Containers.
