Destroyed equipment reclaimed from the battlefield. Can be sorted into useful resources at a Refinery (Using the right click context menu).
In-game description

Wreckage is a special type of resource which is acquired from Rare Resource Nodes scattered around the map. They do not stack in an inventory and cannot be stored within a Resource Container. During Relic Wars, they will not drop Basic Materials or Refined Materials, and will instead drop Relic Materials.

Acquisition

Wreckage can only be be acquired from Rare Resource Nodes. Unlike other resource nodes, which are only found around certain fields, these are scattered around the map, usually around roads, where players passing by can grab them.

They can be gathered by any resource gathering tool, such as a Hammer, Sledgehammer, or a Harvester.

Use

Wreckage can be sorted into Basic Materials or Refined Materials at a Refinery when you hit right click and select the Sort All Wreckage option. Each Wreckage has a 75% chance of giving Refined Materials (amount between 15 and 30 units) otherwise it gives Basic Materials (amount between 50 and 100).

Relic Wars

During certain wars, it can only be sorted into Relic Materials. These materials can be packaged into crates, as well as be used to create certain vehicles.

Tips

  • To maximize the amount of Wreckage you can hold in at one time, fill up your player's inventory, as well as your vehicle's inventory
  • None of the materials that you sort can be stored in a private stockpile, so it is best advised to use them to create new vehicles or equipment
    • Alternatively, you can leave the materials in a Refinery for other players to use
  • Wreckages are useful in the early-game, as they are a convenient and prolific source Refined Materials which are in high demand.
