The Velian Flak Vest is the Colonial Armour Uniform, which reduces small arms damage by -33%, and reduces bleed chance by -75%. When equipped, the uniform adds 35% encumbrance, which reduces overall movement. The Uniform only has four (4) inventory slots, which is one of the smallest inventory slots for all uniforms.
Its most distinctive feature is the light green vest that completely covers the front and back of the Colonial's green uniform.

Tactics
Due to the added encumbrance of the Armour Uniform, it is very useful for open top vehicle crews (Field Guns, Half-Track gunner, etc) where the crew is extremely vulnerable to infantry attacks. This also applies to Tripod users, as being stuck in a static firing arc makes you vulnerable to flanking infantry.
