— Legionary's Oilcoat Description |
The Legionary's Oilcoat (or Rain Uniform) is a Uniform unique to the Colonials, with it specially designed to have a high resistance against Rain Storm effects, such as the accumulation of mud, which adds encumbrance to the player, slowing them down over time.
The Rain Uniform's most distinctive feature is the oilcloth greatcoat with a matching hooded cowl, which completely covers the Colonial soldier's upper body and thighs. The overcoat appearance gives off a shiny look.
Upon death, this uniform is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered. Warden players are unable to equip any uniform that belongs to the Colonials, and visa versa.
Description
The Colonial Rain Uniform, the Legionary's Oilcoat, is an equippable uniform designed with a high resistance to the effects of Rain Storms, and muddy terrain. The uniform's rainstorm protection slows down the accumulation of mud on the player, aiding in mobility in muddy terrain. The uniform has 6 inventory slots, which limits the amount of equipment the player can hold in combat. While Light Kinetic Ammunition stacks, the uniform does not have the other benefits of the standard soldier uniform, so combat equipment encumbrance is not reduced.

Trivia
Unlike all the other Uniforms in the game, the Rain Uniform does not have a Warden counterpart, with the Wardens having no uniforms that can combat Rain Storms and muddy terrain. This is most likely a trade off due to the Caoivish Parka being a far more effective winter uniform in comparison to the Heavy Topcoat.
