This article is timeless and should be accurate for any version of the game.

A large medical facility for treating critically wounded soldiers returning from the battlefield.
In-game description

The Hospital is a world structure found in certain towns where Critically Wounded Soldiers (also known as 'CWS') can be converted into Soldier Supplies.

Construction

As a world structure, new ones can't be built.

If destroyed it can be rebuilt with a Construction Vehicle and 400 Basic Materials if the nearby Town Base has unlocked the Industry IconUpgradesIndustry.png base upgrade.

Production

Soldiers can be delivered there with an Ambulance or on foot by a player. To submit them while on foot press V or open the Hospital menu and click the "Submit Large Item" BtSubmitHeavyItem.png button. Once a critically wounded soldier is in the inventory press the "Submit Patient" BtSubmitPatient.png button to place it in one of the 50 beds and start the conversion.

Each conversion progresses independently. The amount of Soldier Supplies produced depends on global war population and they appear in the Hospital's inventory.

The Hospital offers beds for 50 soldiers which is over 8 times as many as the Field Hospital.

Despite being a hospital, the structure doesn't offer any way to heal a soldier's injuries.

Trivia

  • Critically Wounded Soldiers and Wounded Players should not be confused, despite both able to be carried on the player's shoulders. Wounded Players can still be revived, while Critically Wounded Soldiers are just in-game Large Items.
  • There is an unusable Hospital in Abandoned Ward, which was added prior to Hospitals being introduced to the game (the useable Hospital is located Northwest of the Town Base)
  • Hospitals, like other medical structures and vehicles in Foxhole, use a green cross instead of a red one. The reason for this is because the use of red crosses are restricted in use under the Geneva Convention.
