— In-game description |
The “Lionclaw” mc.VIII (simply known as a Lionclaw) is a Colonial heavy Submachine Gun. It fires 9mm ammunition, and is used more in a defensive role.
Description
The “Lionclaw” mc.VIII is a Submachine Gun that is chambered in 9mm ammunition. It is slower than the Warden Fiddler Submachine Gun Model 868, but fills as similar role of the No.1 “The Liar” Submachine Gun. This is due to it having a slightly better maximum accuracy, lower recoil, a shorter magazine and loses slightly more stability from movements.
The Soldier Uniform reduces the Lionclaw's Encumbrance by 25%.

Trivia
- The design and icon for the “Lionclaw” mc.VIII appear to be based off the Hungarian Danuvia 43M submachine gun, with a different shape stock and receiver.
- The reference to “The Pitch Gun” mc.V in the "Lionclaw" mc.VII's description most likely refers to a larger in-lore Colonial SMG project, not a direct evolution of one weapon to the other- these guns share virtually no design features.
