The 300mm is a large artillery Shell only used in Storm Cannon weaponry.
Description
300mm is a large artillery shell with the biggest caliber in the game and is fired over long ranges.
Like other artillery shells it is indirect fire: it has a natural inaccuracy which increases with range, its trajectory is affected by the wind, and it can trigger the retaliation of Howitzer Garrisons. It has the worst inaccuracy of all artillery shell types.
It explodes on impact. The explosion deals 1500 High Explosive damage in a 4.5m radius and decreasing amounts in a 15m radius. The explosion leaves a mark on the ground that can devastate the ground and can sometimes produce Craters.
It's very effective against most structures but less against very resistant ones, and awful against Trenches. It is mediocre against armored vehicles and its innacuracy makes it hard to hit a mobile target. It can disable their subsystems (the tracks in most cases). It can kill infantry and unarmored vehicles although that isn't cost efficient.
It is expensive to produce and is the only artillery shell that can be fired across the region borders.
It has a chance to turn into ruins Garrisoned Houses that suffer from devastation when dealing the killing blow.
It is a Large Item and thus each shell must be loaded one at a time, carried on a soldier's shoulder.
Its weight is reduced by 33.3% when wearing a Heavy Ammo Uniform.

300mm in Facility personal orders can be retrieved as reservable crates from a logistics vehicle with RMB
> "Retrieve as crate" (1 per crate).
Must be fully researched at an engineering center under the category in order to be produced.
Storage
It does not stack in inventories (1 per slot) except in ammo slots dedicated to it in certain vehicle or structure inventories (varying stack sizes).
It can be stored in the stockpile of Bases (32k max) but also in Material Pallets (120), Material Transfer Stations (1000), Rooster - Tumblebox Trailer (32), Small Flatbed Car (100) or Storage Rooms (100).
Crates of 300mm can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content. The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots, but is most commonly transported by Trucks, Small Flatbed Car, or shipping vehicles carrying Material Pallets. Delivering it in crate form is possible but extremely inefficient.
Trivia
- 300mm is the only artillery shell that is explicitly locked behind the tech tree.
- Over the course of the game's development, 300mm could only produced in certain logistical structures.
- Prior to Update 0.41, they could only be produced in the Advanced Ammunition Factory.
- Prior to 1.50 Inferno, 300mm shells could only be produced in factories.
- With the introduction of Facilities, 300mm shells were changed so they could be produced in an Ammunition Factory with a Large Shell Upgrade.
