The Malone MK.2 (simply known as a Malone) is a Warden heavy infantry Machine Gun. It is chambered in 12.7mm, and is used to attack and suppress enemy infantry and structures.
Description
The Malone MK.2 is a heavy machine gun which is able to provide covering fire as well as destroy certain structures. It also does good damage against many lighter vehicles. Compared to is colonial counterpart, the KRN886-127 Gast Machine Gun, the Malone MK.2 deals less damage per bullet, but shoots at a faster rate of fire.
It has a wider spread compared to its Colonial counterpart, which doesn't make it ideal if you are hitting moving targets when constantly holding down the trigger. As such, it cannot be used as well when used in full auto mode. The rate of fire of the weapon does make it ideal when suppressing enemy structures, allowing for heavier weapons to be used against it without fearing retaliation.

Tactics
Due to the Malone MK.2 not being the best at taking down enemy infantry, it is more ideal in the role of suppressing enemy structures than taking down enemy infantry. Despite its large bloom, it can be done by shooting the weapon in short bursts, which will limit its bloom, ensuring that the shots will have the smallest firing as possible.
Although the rate of fire of the weapon is appealing, due to the heavy nature of the weapon, it is primarily used in more defensive roles, which can either mean being inside of a trench, or in a firing position of a Garrisoned House.
Trivia
- The Malone MK.2 could be based on the French Reibel machine gun, MAC mle 1931 machine gun. Most noticeable is their shared resemblance due to the side-mounted pan magazine and overall shape of the gun. The stock resembles that of a German PzB 39 anti-tank rifle.
