4C-Fire Rocket
| “ | Standard calibre rocket with an incendiary explosion. Will ignite objects near impact. | „ |
| — In-game description |
The 4C-Fire Rocket (also known as Fire Rockets) is a large artillery rocket.
Description
Like other artillery shells it is indirect fire: it has a natural inaccuracy which increases with range, its trajectory is affected by the wind, and it can trigger the retaliation of Artillery Garrisons.
It explodes on impact. The explosion deals 145 Incendiary High Explosive damage in a 2.25m radius and decreasing amounts in a 5.5m radius. It also applies an incendiary effect in its area which can leave structures on fire and slowly damage them. Each structure hit receives 3 fire units.
It does not devastate the ground.
Due to its incendiary nature the rocket can't disable Vehicle Subsystems or cause soldiers to bleed but it can light infantry on fire.
It's effective against most structures but much less against very resistant ones, and awful against Trenches.
It is awful against armored vehicles and Large Ships, it deals significantly reduced damage and its inaccuracy makes it hard to hit a mobile target. It cannot disable their subsystems (the tracks in most cases).
It can kill infantry and unarmored vehicles although that isn't cost efficient.
It is a Large Item and thus each shell must be loaded one at a time, carried on a soldier's shoulder.
Its weight is reduced by 33.3% when wearing a Heavy Ammo Uniform.

It can be fired by the following infantry weapons, vehicles, and structures:

Production
| Structure | Input(s) | Output | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ammunition Factory | 2 x Construction Materials 4 x Heavy Explosive Powder 4 MW of power | 1 x 4C-Fire Rocket | 00:00:25 |
Tier 2 Facilities must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure
Tech Tree in order to be produced.
4C-Fire Rocket in personal orders can be retrieved as reservable crates from a logistics vehicle with
> Retrieve as Crates (1 per crate).
Storage
It does not stack in inventories (1 per slot) except in ammo slots dedicated to it in certain vehicle or structure inventories (varying stack sizes).
It can be stored in stockpiles of Bases (32k max) but also in Material Pallets (60), Rooster - Tumblebox Trailer (20), Material Transfer Stations (1000), Small Flatbed Car (50) or Storage Rooms (100).
Crates of 4C-Fire Rocket can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content. The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots, but is most commonly transported by Trucks, Small Flatbed Car, or shipping vehicles carrying Material Pallets. Delivering it in crate form is possible but extremely inefficient.
Trivia
- When 4C-Fire Rockets were introduced in Update 1.50 ('Inferno'), they were initially faction-neutral
- This was shortly changed after War 96 concluded, with them becoming Warden-exclusive
- In Update 1.53, they once again became faction-neutral, as both sides were given equipment that used those rockets
