The Argenti r.II Rifle is the standard Rifle of the Colonial faction. It uses 7.62mm as ammunition.
Description
The Argenti r.II is a semi automatic 7.62mm primary weapon with 45-67 
damage, long range (25m effective, 40m max), good fire rate (81 rounds/min), and 12-round magazine. It has good accuracy and significant recoil. It loses stability quickly from movements and is thus best fired from a stable position. Within its effective range it kills in two shots most of the time (90% chance).
Compared to its Warden counterpart, it fires faster, has lower recoil, is lighter but this is compensated with slightly shorter range and lower accuracy.
It can equip a Bayonet.
The Soldier Uniform reduces Loughcaster's weight by 25%.
It does not stack in the player's inventory (1 per slot).

Storage
It does not stack in structure or vehicle inventories (1 per slot). It can only be stored in the stockpile of Bases (32k max).
Crates of Argenti r.II Rifle can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content. The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots. However it is much more efficient to transport it in bulk amounts as crates, either delivering them to a Base's stockpile with a Truck or to a crate stockpile with shipping vehicles carrying Shipping Containers.
Tactics
Nighttime engagements suit the Argenti very well - the reduced field of view from the darkness is just within its effective range. A decent fire rate allows the user to quickly down enemies before they can retreat back out of sight.
In the open field, when facing Loughcaster users, the Argenti is at a significant disadvantage. Use of concealment and cover are critical to closing distance with the enemy and bringing the Argenti's superior rate of fire to bear.
Trivia
- The Argenti r.II seems to be based on the Swedish Automatgevär m/42 (based on its upper receiver), the Italian Cei-Rigotti Rifle and the American M14 Rifle
- The word “Argenti” is likely the subjunctive form of the Italian word “Argento” meaning “to be plated in silver” in a metaphorical sense.
- The Argenti r.II was initially less accurate than its current iteration, but received a buff via a hotfix shortly after its debut in Update 0.42 .

- In Update 48, production time reduced by 12.5%. Individual assembly time reduced by 12.5%. Crate assembly time reduced by 37.5%.[2]
