The “Dusk” ce.III (simply known as a Dusk) is a Colonial Assault Rifle. It fires 7.92mm ammunition, and is more used in more aggressive roles when pushing enemy defenses.
Description
The “Dusk” ce.III sports the Highest rate of fire and largest magazine of all Assault Rifles - it also has the shortest effective range and poor accuracy. However, it compensates for this with an unusually long maximum range, giving it the ability to suppress and wound enemies at a distance.
Like other Assault Rifles, wielding the dusk reduces your speed by 15%.
The Soldier Uniform reduces the Dusk's Encumbrance by 25%.

Tactics
Its main characteristic is its high rate of fire and large magazine, making the gun a bullet hose. The gun can't be pin-point accurate and it loses its stability pretty fast while firing even when crouched behind cover. Movements make it lose stability fast, even faster than rifles. You need to be walking crouched while aiming to not lose any stability. On top of that it regains its accuracy slower than most guns. Luckily even at its worst stability the gun can still be effective through the sheer number of bullets it fires.
Although its effective range isn't long (18m), the gun still does about 10 damage at rifle range (30m) which is more than enough to be deadly when you fire 5 bullets every second.
Trivia
- The Dusk's stock, receiver, and pistol grip appear to be based on the Thompson, while its barrel shroud seems to be based on the PPSh-41.
