Uses
Specifications
- It is deployed on the ground in 1.5 seconds and detonates after 5 seconds.
- The explosion deals 300 Demolition damage at the center and quickly decreasing amounts in a 2m radius.
- It has a high encumbrance (70%), meaning a soldier cannot carry more than one if they don't want to be overencumbered.
- It is specifically designed to destroy structures with high Damage Resistances (Garrisoned House, Town Base, Relic Base, concrete structures like Dragon's Teeth).
- It can disable the subsystems of armored vehicles.

Production
Structure | Input(s) | Output | Time |
---|---|---|---|
Factory (Utility) | 150 x Basic Materials 80 x Explosive Materials |
Crate of 10 x Alligator Charge | 00:01:40 |
Must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structures Tech Tree in order to be produced.
Storage
Alligator Charge does not stack in inventories (1 per slot).
It can be stored in Base stockpiles.
Alligator Charge crates can be stored in the stockpile of a Storage Depot, Seaport, or Storage Ship. Crates can be submitted to any stockpile that accept Alligator Charge to transfer their content into it.
Tactics
Due its relatively low damage output, it's recommended to use multiple charges in a coordinated attack with other players to significantly damage or outright destroy a strong structure in a single strike. Since the carriers are slow and vulnerable, their attack can be supported by suppressing fire or with Smoke Grenades. This rush tactic is particularly effective against Safe Houses, which are highly resistant to other damage types and can only be destroyed from the inside.
Trivia
- The Alligator Charge was originally a powerful, late-game, faction-neutral piece of equipment. It dealt 1500 demolition damage, making it the one of the single-most destructive infantry equipment in the game.
- This was changed in Update 1.52, where the role of late-game infantry demolition charge was given to the newly-introduced Havoc Charge, which is a deployable explosive charge, requiring one of two pieces in order to set and "detonate". Its role was later changed to match the Hydra's Whisper.
