8mm is a type of magazine used by Pistols.
Description
By default its bullets deal 30-45 Light Kinetic damage.
It does not deal damage to structures.
It stacks in the player's inventory (3 per slot).

Mass Production Factory orders must have at least 3 crates.
Additionally, two 8mm magazines spawns with the player every time they respawn or redeploy.
Storage
It stacks up to 100 per slot in structure and vehicle inventories. It can be stored in stockpiles of Bases (32k max).
Crates of 8mm can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content.The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots. However it is much more efficient to transport it in bulk amounts as crates, either delivering them to a Base's stockpile with a Truck or to a crate stockpile with shipping vehicles carrying Shipping Containers.

- 8mm is the only type of ammunition that players spawn with whenever they respawn or redeploy
- 8mm ammunition does not appear in stockpiles on the map
