8mm is a type of magazine used by Pistols.
Uses
Specifications
By default its bullets deal 30-45 Light Kinetic damage.
It does not deal damage to structures.

Additionally, two 8mm magazines spawns with the player every time they respawn or redeploy.
Storage
8mm stacks in vehicle and structures inventories (100 per slot). It can stack in player inventory no matter the uniform worn (3 per inventory slot).
It can be stored in Base stockpiles.
8mm crates can be stored in the stockpile of a Storage Depot, Seaport, or Storage Ship. Crates can be submitted to any stockpile that accept 8mm to transfer their content into it.
Trivia
- 8mm is the only type of ammunition that players spawn with whenever they respawn or redeploy
- 8mm ammunition does not appear in stockpiles on the map
- This includes default Pistols and Hammers
