— In-game description
|
|
The Large Assembly Factory is a large player built facility structure that is used to produce a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
Construction
It must be built on Foundations with a Construction Vehicle and costs Processed Construction Materials.
Tier 2 Facilities must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure Tech Tree in order to be produced.
Interactions
- You can access its interface when on foot or in a logistics vehicle by pressing
E
.
- Material Pallets can be deposited on its center with a Crane to transfer content in or out.
- It can be demolished if built less than 28 days ago (materials refunded).
- It is immune to Friendly Fire but it can be flagged for "Disruptive Structure Placement" in its menu to remove the immunity (5 "votes" needed).
- You can view the Action Logs to check the modifications done to it.
- Putting your cursor on its icon on the map displays the types of vehicles it can build and also shows its stockpile content (if not reserved by a Squad you're not in).
- Destructions of this structure type by enemies are logged in the Region Event Logs.
Squad Reservation
It can be reserved for a Squad for 52 hours (can be refreshed) with the following effects:
- Prevents non-members from modifying it.
- Squad members starting a vehicle production can select whether they want the vehicle to start reserved to the Squad.
- Prevents non-members from accessing the Reserve parked vehicle on the station.
- Only for vehicles produced at this structure. Produced vehicle starts reserve parked when production is done.
- Vehicle must be parked directly in the center of the structure or deposited onto the structure with a crane.
- If parked correctly, a message appears in the vehicle's menu.
- Does not prevent enemies from stealing the vehicle.
- Prevents non-members from remotely viewing the stockpile content by putting their cursor on the structure's icon on the map.
- However the reservation does NOT prevent non-members from accessing the stockpile or starting a production.
Production
Only one vehicle can be produced at a time. Production requires 8MW of power and will automatically pause when power is insufficient. The vehicle produced starts locked to the player that launched its production.
Upgrades
Multiple upgrade modules exist to add more production options. However only one can be installed on a facility and it cannot be uninstalled (demolishing the facility will refund the upgrade cost).
Train Assembly
- Description: An assembly station for producing train cars.
- Upgrade Cost: 150 .
- Requirement: "Tier 3 Facilities" technology must be unlocked.
Heavy Tank Assembly

Trivia
- When the Large Assembly Station was introduced in Update 1.50 ('Inferno'), it was originally called the "Large Vehicle Factory", and used the basic facility map icon.
- It was renamed to the Large Assembly Station in Update 1.52 and given a distinctive map icon, in order to reduce naming confusion and improve facility gameplay.
