Keep
This article is timeless and should be accurate for any version of the game.

— In-game description |
A Keep is a strong circular world structure that exist in predetermined locations in the world and serves as a Forward Base where players can respawn and gear up.
Construction
New ones can't be built but existing ones can be rebuilt with a Construction Vehicle and 300 Basic Materials when they are destroyed.
When a Keep is rebuilt by the enemy team, like any other base, its Base Upgrades get reverted and 75% of all items are lost (all Soldier Supplies and all Maintenance Supplies). Once a Keep has been destroyed it cannot be rebuilt again for approximately 20 minutes.
Defense
Keeps do not fire on enemies and therefore rely on player-built defenses. It has a large accessible interior and a roof.
Base Upgrades
Base Upgrades are additional functionalities that the base can unlock. They are slowly and automatically unlocked over time. Upgrades progress faster the more people assign their spawn to that base. A particular upgrade can be prioritized by voting for it in the menu of the Base if you've assigned your spawn there. Progression is sped up by things like supplying the base and building structures. You can check the base upgrades unlocked at a given Base by hovering your mouse over its icon on the map.

- At Westgate Keep in Westgate
- At Checkpoint Titim in Howl County
- At The Robin's Nest in Sableport
- Some vehicles such as Bicycle, Motorcycles, and Light Utility Vehicles are small enough to enter Keeps.
- Unlike Town Bases and Relic Bases, the stockpile of Keeps starts empty at the beginning of a war.
