Oil Fields 
are Resource Fields where Players collect Oil 
through Oil Wells. Unlike other Resource Fields, Oil Fields do not have harvestable nodes but have an unlimited reserve of oil. You must use Oil Wells in order to harvest oil. Oil Wells must be constructed by a Construction Vehicle in order to harvest the resources.
Their locations are always shown on the map, they are pre-determined at the start of each war.
Oil Fields cannot be destroyed.
Use
Oil Fields rely on Oil Wells in order to harvest resources, which must be constructed by the player. Up to three Oil Wells can be constructed on a Oil Field. If you put your cursor on a field's icon, it will show the amount of oil stored in the field's Oil Wells.
Trivia
- When Oil Fields were first introduced in Update 1.50 ('Inferno'), they were called Crude Oil Fields
- This was later changed in Update 1.53 to clear up confusion related to their extracted resources
