A stationary harvester that automatically gathers Components using Petrol as fuel.
In-game description

A Stationary Harvester (Components) is a player built structure that automatically extracts Components from Components Fields using Petrol as fuel.

Construction

It is built with a Construction Vehicle and costs Construction Materials. It must be built next to a Components Field (up to 3 per field).

Interactions

  • You can access its interface when on foot or in a logistics vehicle by pressing E.
  • Its internal liquid tanks can be refuelled.
  • The original builder can instantly demolish it TrenchDemolishIcon.png if it was built less than 28 days ago (materials refunded).
  • It can be reserved for a Squad TrenchReservationIcon.png to prevent non-members from modifying it (however the stockpile access is not restricted).
  • It is immune to Friendly Fire but it can be flagged for "Disruptive Structure Placement" RemoveStructureIcon.png to remove the immunity (5 "votes" needed).
  • You can view the Action Logs Log.png to check the modifications done to it.

Production

The components extracted are taken from the field's reserve, the harvester can't collect the nodes spawned on the field. It is much less efficient and slower than a Component Mine.

The structure's internal Petrol tank can hold 1000L (20 Cans). It can be refuelled just like a vehicle. A full tank will last 50 minutes of production.

Production automatically halts when the stockpile is full. Only one of the production options can be active at a time.

Upgrades

Upgrade modules exist to add more production options. However only one can be installed on a facility and it cannot be uninstalled (demolishing the facility will refund the upgrade cost).

Excavator

  • Description: An excavator that allows for the mining of Damaged Components when a Component Field is depleted.

  • Requirement: "Tier 2 Facilities" technology must be unlocked.

The Excavator upgrade can produce Damaged Components which do not consume any components from the field and still function while the field is empty. Those damaged components needs to be converted into normal components at a Metalworks Factory's Recycler.
