Small Assembly Station
“ | A standard Assembly Station for production of essential vehicles and equipment. Construction will take time and may be halted if resources are depleted. Some projects require a base vehicle to be present on the Assembly Station before production can begin. | „ |
— In-game description |
The Small Assembly Station is a large player built facility structure that is used to produce a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
Construction
It must be built on Foundations with a Construction Vehicle and costs 75 Construction Materials. Friendly Small Assembly Stations are always visible on the map with a unique icon .
Tier 2 Facilities must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure Tech Tree in order to be produced.
Upgrades
Upgrade modules exist to add more production options. However only one can be installed on a facility. It cannot be uninstalled, but demolishing the facility will refund the upgrade cost. The upgrade options are listed in the bottom right corner of the structure's menu. The required materials must be either in the player's inventory or the structure's inventory.

Modifications
A single Power Line can be connected to it to provide the power required for production. The line can be disconnected by pressing the "Disconnect All Power" button.
Demolition
The original builder, and squad members if reserved, can instantly demolish it if it was built less than 28 days ago. The materials used in the construction and upgrades are refunded and dropped under the player.
Reservation
The original builder can reserve it for a Squad for 52 hours in the menu. The reservation can be refreshed
by any squad member. If the reservation expires, the structure can never be reserved again.
The reservation has the following effects:
- Prevents non-members from modifying it.
- Squad members starting a vehicle production can select whether they want the vehicle to start reserved to the Squad.
- However the reservation does NOT prevent non-members from accessing the stockpile or starting a production.
Destruction
It is immune to Friendly Fire but it can be flagged for "Disruptive Structure Placement" to remove the immunity (10 "votes" needed).
Destructions by enemies of this type of structure are logged in the Region Event Logs.
Reconstruction
When destroyed, it leaves behind a "husk" that can be destroyed or rebuilt. Reconstruction uses the same tool and materials as the construction. Rebuilding a friendly husk restores its stockpile but not the vehicle production order while rebuilding an enemy one restores only 25% of the stockpile.
Structure Event Log
In its interface you can click the "View Actions Log" button to view a list of recent events, with timestamps and player names displayed. Events recorded include modifications and production orders. The log only displays the last 128 events (8 pages).
Use
Its interface can be accessed on foot or from the driver seat of a logistics vehicle by pressing E
.
Production
Production requires the structure to be powered with 2MW of power. The production process is paused if power is lost and automatically resumes when power returns. It can only produce one vehicle at a time. For productions that require a particular vehicle chassis, the vehicle must be placed on the center of the structures, and it can't be a Prototype. The vehicle produced starts locked to the player that launched its production.

Storage
It has an inventory with 15 slots and a stockpile that only accepts the types of materials necessary for its production. The content of its stockpile can be viewed remotely by putting their cursor on the structure's icon on the map.
The center of the station is a loading area where Material Pallets can be deposited with a Crane to transfer contents in or out.
Trivia
- When it was introduced in Update 1.50 ('Inferno'), it was originally called the "Light Vehicle Assembly Station" and used the basic facility icon.
- It was renamed to the Small Assembly Station in Update 1.52 and given a distinctive map icon, in order to reduce naming confusion and improve facility gameplay.
- In Update 1.54 ('Naval Warfare'), it introduced two new upgrades (the 'Rocket Manufactory' and the 'Naval Works'), as well as renaming the 'Rocket Factory' upgrade to become the 'Battery Line' upgrade.
