For Small Assembly Station, see Small Assembly Station.
A large Assembly Station for production of advanced vehicles and equipment, such as tanks and trains. Construction will take time and may be halted if resources are depleted.
In-game description

The Large Assembly Factory is a large player built facility structure that is used to produce a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.

Construction

It must be built on Foundations with a Construction Vehicle and costs Processed Construction Materials. Friendly Large Assembly Stations are always visible on the map with a unique icon MapIconFacilityVehicleFactory2.png.

Tier 2 Facilities must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure IconFilterWeaponsStructures.png Tech Tree in order to be produced.

Upgrades

Upgrade modules exist to add more production options. However only one can be installed on a facility. It cannot be uninstalled, but demolishing the facility will refund the upgrade cost. The upgrade options are listed in the bottom right corner of the structure's menu. The required materials must be either in the player's inventory or the structure's inventory.

Image Name Description Cost Requirements

HeavyTankAssemblyStation.png Heavy Tank Assembly An assembly station for producing heavy tank class vehicles. 150 x SteelConstructionMaterialsIcon.png "Tier 3 Facilities" technology unlocked.

Modifications

A single Power Line can be connected to it to provide the power required for production. The line can be disconnected by pressing the "Disconnect All Power" BtPowerDisconnect.png button.

Demolition

The original builder, and squad members if reserved, can instantly demolish it BtDemolish.png if it was built less than 28 days ago. The materials used in the construction and upgrades are refunded and dropped under the player.

Reservation

The original builder can reserve it for a Squad BtReserve.png for 52 hours in the menu. The reservation can be refreshed BtRefreshBunker.png by any squad member. If the reservation expires, the structure can never be reserved again.

The reservation has the following effects:

  • Prevents non-members from modifying it.
  • Squad members starting a vehicle production can select whether they want the vehicle to start reserved to the Squad.
  • Prevents friendly non-members from accessing the Reserve parked vehicle on the station.
  • However the reservation does NOT prevent non-members from accessing the stockpile or starting a production.

Destruction

It is immune to Friendly Fire but it can be flagged for "Disruptive Structure Placement" BtRemove.png to remove the immunity (10 "votes" needed).

Destructions by enemies of this type of structure are logged in the Region Event Logs.

Reconstruction

When destroyed, it leaves behind a "husk" that can be destroyed or rebuilt. Reconstruction uses the same tool and materials as the construction. Rebuilding a friendly husk restores its stockpile but not the vehicle production order while rebuilding an enemy one restores only 25% of the stockpile.

Structure Event Log

In its interface you can click the "View Actions Log" button BtLog.png to view a list of recent events, with timestamps and player names displayed. Events recorded include modifications and production orders. The log only displays the last 128 events (8 pages).

Use

Its interface can be accessed on foot or from the driver seat of a logistics vehicle by pressing E.

Vehicle Production

Only one vehicle can be produced at a time. Production requires 8MW of power and will automatically pause when power is insufficient. The vehicle produced starts locked to the player that launched its production. Once a vehicle production is started there is no way to cancel it.

Putting your cursor on the structure's icon on the map displays the types of vehicles it can build and also shows its stockpile content (if not reserved by a Squad you're not in).

Storage

It has an inventory with 15 slots and a stockpile that only accepts the types of materials necessary for vehicle production. The content of its stockpile can be viewed remotely by putting their cursor on the structure's icon on the map.

The center of the station is a loading area where Material Pallets can be deposited with a Crane to transfer contents in or out.

Reserve Parking

The types of vehicles that can be produced at Large Assembly Stations can be reserve parked on them if both the vehicle and the station are reserved for the same Squad. This prevents non-members from accessing the Reserve parked vehicle on the station.

A vehicle is considered reserve parked at a station if:

  • It was just produced at the station and the producer had opted to reserve the vehicle for the Squad that reserved the station
  • It is reserved for the same Squad as the station and it is parked directly in the center of the station (facing the right direction) or deposited onto the station with a crane.

If parked correctly, a message appears in the vehicle's menu.

The reserve parking only lasts as long as the vehicle's squad reservation which is 30 minutes for most vehicles and 2 days for Battle Tanks and Super Tanks.

Keep in mind that Reserve Parking does not prevent enemies from stealing the vehicle.

Trivia

  • When the Large Assembly Station was introduced in Update 1.50 ('Inferno'), it was originally called the "Large Vehicle Factory", and used the basic facility map icon.
    • It was renamed to the Large Assembly Station in Update 1.52 and given a distinctive map icon, in order to reduce naming confusion and improve facility gameplay.
