— In-game description |
Dragon's Teeth are a player-built defensive concrete structure designed to block the movement of enemy vehicles in open terrain.
Construction
Dragon's Teeth are built with 10 Concrete Materials. Like other concrete structures, it must dry for 24 hours to get its maximum resistance. During this drying period, the wetter it is, the more vulnerable it is to damage.
It must be built on ground that isn't too steep. It can't be built on Roads, beaches, bridges, or rocks. Its length is adjustable between 4 and 15 meters, the amount of invidivual teeth in it varies with the length. Its health is proportional to its length, with it's normal health at 15 meters (only has half health at 4 meters). It can be curved while placing it, it automatically attaches itself to other existing Dragon's Teeth. Hold Shift
to deactivate this.
Must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structures Tech Tree in order to be constructed.
Use
Protection
They are designed to block the movement of enemy vehicles in open terrain. The space between each teeth allows soldiers and Bicycles to pass through them. They are also tall enough that soldiers shoot over them (but they can climb on them).
Resistance
They are resistant to most types of damage, however they are vulnerable to High Explosive damage (artillery) and highly susceptible to Demolition damage (Havoc Charge, Hydra's Whisper, Alligator Charge, 250mm).
Unlike the Tank Trap, Dragon's Teeth cannot be dismantled with a Wrench.
Tactics
During its construction, it is recommended to build it to its maximum length in order to get the most amount of health out of a single structure. Alternatively, building them in short intervals decreases their health, but reduces the gap created by their destruction.
Enemy infantry can sneak around them and attack defenses while in cover behind them. Additionally, their construction can also block other defensive structures, as line of sight is blocked by the teeth themselves.
