The AT Gun Garrison is a player-built defensive Bunker modification that automatically fires at enemy vehicles with an anti-tank cannon when garrisoned. It can be upgraded for better health and stronger resistance.

In-game description

Construction

A Tier 2 AT Gun Garrison can be constructed on any Tier 2 Bunker with the following requirements:

The direction of the gun is chosen by moving the Mouse Wheel while your cursor is on the AT Gun option of the Hammer's upgrade menu.

Structural Integrity

The Tier 2 AT Gun Garrison modification moderately decreases the Structural Integrity of its Bunker Network.

Use

Garrison

When its Garrison is active (large flag on top), it automatically fires a Anti-Tank cannon dealing 600 damage at any enemy vehicle or structure within 28 meters (30m from its center) in a 180 degree firing arc but ignores enemy infantry. It is very accurate but is slow to turn and goes back to facing its original direction once it loses its target. The gun takes 2 seconds to reach its normal fire rate (20 rounds per minute by default) and accuracy. Similar to player vision, its detection range is reduced at night but less if its bunker is powered. Getting shot by an enemy in a vehicle or structure triggers its retaliation fire for 15 seconds, it locks on and fires at the vehicle/structure if it is within 58 meters (even at night) and its line of sight isn't obstructed. If the AT Gun Garrison is attached to other bunkers it will only retaliate if actual damage is dealt (e.g. not small arms) but will also retaliate if a connected bunker is damaged.

The garrison has infinite ammunition.

Its garrison cannot be suppressed.

Infrastructure Bonus:
Note that the effects of the following are unclear and contradict AI retaliation mechanics so don't bank on them.

The fire rate of the gun can be increased by adding certain "Garrison" type Infrastructure Modifications IconInfrastructureGarrison.png to the connected Bunker Base network. 3.33% increase per infrastructure, up to 66.6% increase. The maximum fire rate is 33 rounds per minute.

Power:
If an AT Gun Garrison is powered with 600W, the spotlight on top of it turns on and allows the garrison to get a few more meters of range during the night. Powering the defense does NOT activate its AI! The direction of the spotlight doesn't matter, when enemies are in range the spotlight follows them.

Defensive Position

Unlike other bunker garrison, friendly players cannot get inside it.

Resistance

It is immune to small arms, fragmentation grenades, and 12.7mm machine gun fire but not to heavier explosives.

Construction

A Tier 3 AT Gun Garrison can be constructed on any Tier 3 Bunker with the following requirements:

The direction of the gun is chosen by moving the Mouse Wheel while your cursor is on the AT Gun option of the Hammer's upgrade menu.

An existing Tier 2 AT Gun Garrison can also be upgraded to Tier 3 if it is connected (by trenches or bunkers) to a Bunker Base with the Concrete Structures CivicMaterialsIcon.png upgrade. It's the cheaper method as you only spends Concrete Materials once overall.

Concrete Settling

It must dry off for 24 hours but it already works while wet. The duration increases during Snow Storms and Rain Storms depending on their intensity (up to double with highest intensity).

While very sturdy when dry, it is vulnerable while still wet. The vulnerability depends on how wet the concrete is and functions as a damage multiplier. Wet concrete that's just been placed has a x10 damage multiplier compared to dry concrete. After 8 hours the damage multiplier is roughly x3, and x2 after 12 hours.

Structural Integrity

The Tier 3 AT Gun Garrison modification slightly decreases the Structural Integrity of its Bunker Network.
