Stationary Crane

The Stationary Crane is a world structure with a crane arm used to move packaged Shippables around.

Construction

It cannot be built, it is found in the world next to certain logistics world structures: Seaport (two), Storage Depot, Construction Yard, Refinery, Offshore Platform, and Mass Production Factory.

Reconstruction

If one is destroyed, it can be rebuilt with a Construction Vehicle and 100 Basic Materials.

Use

  • Enter/Exit the Stationary Crane - press Q.
  • Aim the arm - hold RMB
  • Cursor icon relays information: crosshair = valid location, gears = valid shippable / special interaction
  • Pick up a packaged shippable - hold RMB and press LMB
  • Held shippable can be rotated - press A or D
  • Held shippable can be placed on the ground, on special shipping vehicles, or on special locations - hold RMB and press LMB

The arm's range is a little over 20m from the crane's center.
