A Catwalks Platform is a player made structure used as raised walkways above Facilities.
Construction
They must be built on Foundations with Processed Construction Materials. The Tier 2 Facility technology must be unlocked to build it.
They automatically snap to Catwalk Stairs, Catwalk Bridges, and other Catwalk Platforms. Hold Shift to disable it. A Catwalk Bridge can be connected to each of their 4 sides, allowing the walkway to make turns.
Use
The only real use for those raised walkways is to allow soldiers to pass above a Railway Track with a long train on it that would otherwise block the way.
You cannot vault over the guardrail.
