Emplaced Weapons
Emplaced Weapons (or "Emplacements") are deployable player-controlled defence structures. They can be placed inside Trench Emplacements to get a bonus that effectively quadruples their health and increases their rotation speed.
Shippables are packaged structures or vehicles that can be moved by Cranes and transported using specially designed shipping vehicles. Shippable structures can be stored in Storage Depots, Seaports, and Storage Ships.
Shippable structures and vehicles can be packaged by going into their menu (press
) and clicking the package
button. When packaged, they are unable to function and their content is inaccessible. You can unpackage a shippable by pressing
. Both packaging and unpackaging takes a few seconds and moving cancels the action. The shippable can only be packaged if at full health, full Tank Armour for armored vehicles (except train cars), not muddy, not coupled to anything for train cars, no Aircraft Parts installed for Aircraft, and structures must have an empty inventory (not the stockpile). If the vehicle or structure has armaments, the ammunition chambered into them is deleted.
A packaged shippable not held by a crane automatically unpackages itself 15 minutes after "Packaging 100%".
Packaging aircraft uniquely transform them into packaged Aircraft Crates which contains the aircraft disassembled.
For all practical purposes, shippables come in three sizes: Medium, Large, and Extra Large. The size can be seen in the tooltip when hovering over the shippable icon in the stockpile (e.g. in the Seaport) or production facility (such as Construction Yard, Garage or Large Assembly Station). All shippable structures are medium while the size varies for packaged vehicles depending on the vehicle type.
| Size | Vehicles |
|---|---|
| Medium | Advanced Construction Vehicle, Armoured Car, Construction Vehicle, Light Tank, Light Utility Vehicle, Motorcycle, Scout Tank, Tankette, Trailer as well as all Field Weapons and Small Train Cars |
| Large | Ambulance, Assault Tank, Battle Tank, Container Car, Cruiser Tank, Destroyer Tank, Fire Engine, Flatbed Car, Fuel Tanker, Half-Track, Harvester, Landing APC, Light Infantry Tank, Siege Tank, Truck |
| Extra Large | Caboose, Combat Car, First Aid Car, Infantry Car, Locomotive, Long-Range Artillery Car |
| Unpackageable | Bicycle, Crane, Flatbed Truck, Heavy-Duty Truck, Landing Ship, Large Crane, Super Tank, Transport Bus and all ships |
When packaged, shippables of any size can be lifted and moved to any location within the Crane's reach:
How to use cranes:
There are very few restrictions on where you can place shippables as long as there are no physical obstacles and the terrain isn't too sloped. You can place them in knee-deep water, on large rocks, roads, beaches, on top of Bunkers or Foundations. The few places not allowed are: on Bridges, Field Bridges, Navy Piers, Railway Tracks (small or large), or very close to Trenches.
When held by a crane, a shippable is incorporeal and doesn't block or collide with anything.
If the crane holding the shippable is destroyed then the shippable is also destroyed.
Cranes cannot be used if the player is weapons restricted (too much recent friendly fire) except for BMS - Class 2 Mobile Auto-Crane and BMS - Overseer Sky-Hauler.
Shippables can be transported on special vehicles:
| Vehicle | Capacity | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Flatbed Truck |

| Flatbed Car |
1 medium or large shippable | Hauled by a Locomotive |

100 of every shippable types (except train cars) | Stored in its stockpile |
| Crane |
1 medium shippable | Undeploy to allow the vehicle to move while still carrying the shippable. The vehicle cannot move while carrying the shippable if the shippable size is greater than medium. |
| Large Crane |
1 shippable of any size | Undeploy to allow the vehicle to move while still carrying the shippable Only moves on dedicated tracks |
A shippable cannot be deposited onto or picked up from a shipping vehicle if it is locked by someone else or reserved for a squad that the player is not in.
If a shipping vehicle is destroyed, any shippable it carried is also deleted. There are only a few exceptions: Material Pallets, Resource Containers, Shipping Containers, and Liquid Containers (notably not Shippable Crates) carried by Flatbed Trucks or Flatbed Cars are dropped on the ground when their vehicle is destroyed.
Shippables can be placed on special shipping spots to enable special interactions:

For structures with loading areas, the player can click the package
button at the bottom of their interface to repackage the shippable without leaving their seat in the crane.
There are many types of Shippables, with each their own function. Excluding vehicles, all shippables are produced at a Construction Yard, Small Assembly Station, or Mass Production Factory.

Ship Parts are used to build Large Ships at a Dry Dock.
Rocket Parts are shippable structures necessary to build a rocket at a A0E-9 Rocket Platform.
Large Structure Parts are shippable structures necessary to build large bunker structures.
All types of shippable structures can be stored in the public stockpile of Storage Depots, Seaports, or Storage Ships. They can all be stored in a Reserve Stockpile except Emplaced Weapons. Shippable Crates of shippable structures can be stored in both public and Reserve stockpiles.
