The Shorerunner is a large vessel that ferries friendly troops and light vehicles to assault distant shores.
„
— In-game description
The MacConmara Shorerunner is a WardenLanding Ship with a deployable ramp that is specially designed to ferry large amounts of players and various equipment from one destination to another.
The MacConmara Shorerunner houses a crew of one soldier:
Driver (Seat 1)
Controls the movement of the ship, and can see the remaining fuel in the vehicle
Opens/Closes the ramp - press F
Activates horn sound with LMB
Passenger (Seat 2)
Can't do anything
Ship Bay:
Additionally the ship's bay can contain as many soldiers as can fit in it (approximately 22). They can get out by vaulting over the ship's sides, but only when it's not moving. The ship cannot move if any of the passenger is encumbered.
Armament
The MacConmara Shorerunner is not equipped with a main armament.
It has 6 inventory slots, and a loading area that can hold one medium shippable.
Items can be dropped on the ship deck. The ship can still move with dropped items on it. If not picked up for 5 minutes they are automatically submitted to the ship's inventory or deleted if no space is available.
Can move on water without fuel, or when disabled, but at drastically reduced speed
Can ram and instantly destroy Field Bridges over water
Unable to move if one of the passenger is overencumbered.
Turn Rate
The drivers direction and application of the handbrake influences the turn rate. For quick reference:
The fastest turn rate (10.1° per second) is achieved by driving in reverse at top turning speed (-6.6 knots), without handbrake, while holding A or D (Left or Right), and using Petrol.
Driving forwards at top turning speed (7.7 knots) without handbrake, while holding A or D (Left or Right), and using Petrol results in the 2nd highest turn rate (8.4° per second).
Use of the handbrake significantly reduces speed and turn rate of the MacConmara Shorerunner.
Example turn rates and times caused by driver direction, and application of the handbrake are detailed in the table below:

Health & Armor
The MacConmara Shorerunner has 2250 HP and is disabled under 50% health. It has "Light Armor" resistance: it can soak small arms fire and shrapnel, and it is immune to Flamethrowers. It can soak 12.7mm machine gun fire but not for long. Heavy explosives and anti-tank weaponry are a real threat to it. It has Tank Armor. With it, in best case scenario, penetrating projectiles only have a 55% chance of penetrating and doing damage. That chance goes up quickly if the armor is worn or if it is shot from up close, or on the side or rear from a direct angle,or with ammo that has penetration bonuses. It takes 150 Basic Materials to fully repair it from 1% to 100% health with a Hammer. Its health and Tank Armor can be instantly repaired at a Shipyard for 50 Basic Materials.
It is automatically deleted after 1 hour if left unused.
One medium-sized Shippable can be placed on the ship
If it's a structure, it must be loaded/offloaded with a Crane - the player must have access to the ship. It can't be unpackaged onboard. Shooting at it only damages the ship.
If it's a vehicle, it can be packaged/unpackaged onboard and its inventory remains accessible, however it cannot be entered or operated while the ship's ramp is up. When the ramp is down, you cannot enter the vehicle with Q, you must press Shift+E while next to the driver seat and select Enter Cargo Vehicle.

Demolish Option
Can be demolished using the "packaging" button in its menu. This will refund half of the build cost, 5 x , allowing players to use those materials for other purposes.
The MacConmara Shorerunner cannot be stored in a Storage Depot, Seaport or Storage Ship. It cannot be packaged or transported by another vehicle. As such, it must be driven to its destination, regardless of where it is.
Tactics
The MacConmara Shorerunner, like all Landing Ships, are specially designed to ferry large amounts of soldiers from the BMS - Longhook, to the enemy coastline. Due to this specialized role, it is not made for prolonged use, as the vehicle will slowly deteriorate and eventually be destroyed. Additionally, it can be quickly demolished after landing, which give players an easy way of removing the vehicle from the beach, and letting more people land on it.
Trivia
Landing Ships are the first kind of vehicles that can be "packaged" and completely removed from the world.
This mechanic was introduced to remove the vehicle clutter of Naval Landings, where additional ships could not land on the beaches due to the previous waves of ships littering the coastline (effectively preventing the attackers from landing more troops and equipment).
Landing Ships are currently the cheapest ship in the game, at the cost of 10 Basic Materials.
This cheap cost was chosen to facilitate the quick construction of them, allowing Naval landings to quickly redeploy respawning soldiers, and resupply soldiers with equipment.
