Fuel System
- Location: Rear
- Disable State: Ruptured Fuel Tank
- Causes fuel to drain at a very fast rate (5L/s), even when not accelerating
- A puddle of oil starts to form on the ground under the fuel system
Certain armored vehicles have subsystems that can potentially be disabled when taking damage on specific locations. The crew of the vehicle will see particular Status Effects icons in the top left of their screen when a specific subsystem is disabled.
Machine guns that are not the primary armament do not count as turrets. (Chieftain and Ranseur 12.7 can be disabled, Bardiche and Highwayman no)
Tracks on the O'Brien_V.121_Highlander aren't considered proper Track Systems and as such cannot be disabled.
The wheels on the 90T-v “Nemesis” are treated as tracks and can be disabled.
Unarmored tracked vehicles also cannot get tracked.A projectile that hits a subsystem's location only has a chance to disable it. The percentage chance depends on the subsystem and vehicle type (but most are between 10% and 35%).
Small arms fire, Shrapnel weapons, 12.7mm machine guns as well as projectiles deflected by the vehicle's Tank Armour cannot disable subsystems.
Certain weapons have a higher chance to disable particular subsystems:
The only way to repair a disabled subsystem is to fully repair the vehicle's health with a Hammer or at a Garage/Shipyard with Basic Materials. Large Ships subsystems need to be repaired at a Dry Dock and cost Naval Shell Platings.
