Soldier

A soldier's walking speed decreases the more encumbrance they have.

• 0% encumbrance: 6 m/s
• 25%: 5 m/s
• 50%: 4.5 m/s
• 75%: 4 m/s
• 99%: 3.5 m/s
• 100+%: 2.2 m/s

Sprinting increases the speed by 33% when the stamina bar is full. The bonus is proportional to the ratio of stamina left, it becomes null when out of stamina.

Swimming speed with 0% encumbrance: 1.75 m/s

Snow Storms reduce infantry off-road speed by 10% for weak storms and up to 50% for the strongest ones.

Wielding certain heavier weapons decreases a soldier's speed.

Using Petrol instead of Diesel in a vehicle increases its top speed by 10%.

All vehicles get a +2.5% speed bonus when driving on Tier 2 Roads and +5% bonus on Tier 3.

A ship's top speed is one fifth the normal value when it is out of fuel.
