Concrete Materials (also known as Concrete) is a Large Material used to build concrete structures. Its most distinctive feature is the horizontal black bar on the burlap sack.

Use
Concrete Materials are the building material needed to upgrade player-built structures to Tier 3.
The weight of Concrete Materials can be reduced by 25% by wearing an Engineer Uniform.
Concrete Settling
Every structure or upgrade built with Concrete Materials must dry for 24 hours (48 for Storm Cannon) after being built. Depending on the structure type it may or may not be usable while the concrete is wet. While very sturdy when dry, it is vulnerable while still wet. The vulnerability depends on how wet the concrete is and functons as a damage multiplier. Wet concrete that's just been placed has a x10 damage multiplier compared to dry concrete. After 8 hours the damage multiplier is roughly x3, and x2 after 12 hours. Settling time increases during storms depending on their intensity (up to double the normal time).
Storage
It does not stack in inventories (1 per slot). It can be stored in the stockpiles of Bases (32k max), Facilities that produces it (32k), Material Pallets (120), Material Transfer Stations (1000), Rooster - Tumblebox Trailer (32), and Small Flatbed Car (100).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots, but is most commonly transported by Trucks, Small Flatbed Car, or shipping vehicles carrying Material Pallets.
Trivia
- Concrete Materials used to be a regular item (similar to Basic Materials or Refined Materials), allowing players to hold multiple at a time
- With an Engineer Uniform, you could hold up to seven Concrete Materials without getting over-encumbered
- The original icon for Concrete Materials is still used in the Concrete Upgrade for Bunker Bases
- Concrete Materials was reworked in Update 1.52, which made it a Large Material, allowing it to be stored in Material Pallets, increasing the carry capacity per trip from 23 pieces (player with Engineer Uniform + Standard Truck), to 121 pieces (Flatbed Truck with Material Pallet full of Concrete Materials + 1 in the Flatbed's inventory)
