Un bâtiment abandonné dans le monde qui a été fortifié et mis en garnison.
Description en jeu

Une Maison Fortifiée est une structure défensive du monde trouvée dans toutes les villes et leurs environs. Elle peut être améliorée. Il existe différent modèles de tailles variées.

Construction

It cannot be built, it is found in certain towns in the world.

Upgrading

Garrisoned Houses have Tiers, represented by the type of material covering their reinforced windows: Cloth at Tier 1, Wood at Tier 2, Metal at Tier 3.

House tier represented by reinforcement type (cloth, wood, planks, iron case) on the AI windows.

A Tier 1 Garrisoned House can be upgraded to Tier 2 for 150 Basic Materials but only if the connected Town Base or Safe House is itself Tier 2 and controlled by your faction. Same thing for Tier 3.

Reconstruction

A destroyed Garrisoned House can be rebuilt with a Construction Vehicle and some Basic Materials (120 for small houses, 150 for medium ones, 250 for large ones). Drive to the house, press F to switch to upgrade mode, aim at the house with RMB and press E, then hit the blueprint by holding LMB until completion.

However it can only be rebuilt if the following requirements are met:

  • Your faction controls the nearby Town Base
  • The Town Base has unlocked the Ville Occupée IconGarrisonHouse.png upgrade
  • It is in range of the Town Base or a Safe House with active Garrison (either through Petite Garnison IconFacilitiesSmallGarrison.png upgrade or Garnison Provisoire IconFacilitiesProvisionalGarrison.png upgrade and 10+ player spawns assigned)

Not all houses in a town can be rebuilt into a garrisoned house, some are too demolished. You can check if a house can be rebuilt by aiming at it with your hammer in upgrade mode and pressing E.

Garrisoned Houses that have been devastated also cannot be rebuilt.

A garrisoned house must be destroyed and rebuilt to change its faction.

Use

Defensive Position

Most Garrisoned Houses have a walkable interior where infantry can seek shelter, multiple doorways, opened windows, and all have reinforced windows.

The reinforced windows are firing positions that friendly soldiers can access by going to their particular entry point in the house interior (marked with a large "X") and pressing Q. While inside they cannot be injured by anything except Gas Grenades or heat. They also instantly die if the house is destroyed. Being inside the house also warms up soldiers during Snow Storms.

Garrison

When garrisoned, the reinforced windows automatically fire weak rifle bullets at enemy infantry and vehicles within 25 meters. Similar to player vision, their detection range is reduced at night (down to 14m at midnight). The state of the garrison is visually represented by faction-colored fabric appearing under each window. The garrison cannot be suppressed and does not retaliate beyond its range when shot at. It cannot shoot at enemy infantry that manage to get inside the house.

At Tier 3, it fires weak 20mm rounds at enemy vehicles instead of 7.62mm.

large green/blue cloth under window = active AI, tattered cloth = active but will deactivate soon, tiny cloth = no AI

Resistance

Tier 1 Garrisoned Houses are immune to small arms fire and 12.7mm machine gun fire. It is pretty resistant to most heavy explosives but is vulnerable to High Explosive damage (Artillery) and Demolition damage. Tier 2 and tier 3 make it more resistant to all explosives except Demolition ones.

Garrisoned Houses come in three sizes health wise, the medium and large ones have 25% and 50% more health than the small respectively.

Tactiques
