Rare Alloys are a type of Large Facility Material, which are used to produce and construct various structures and upgrades related to Large Ships, and Rockets.

The Dry Dock must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure Tech Tree in order for the material to be produced.

Use

Rare Alloys are used in the construction, and production of various Large Ships and A0E-9 Rockets. This material cost ranges from the infrastructure and upgrades, to the required materials in order to construct them.

Due to their value and rarity, it is important to not waste them and to keep them secured in an area that cannot be easily destroyed.

Storage

Rare Alloys do not stack in inventories but they can be stored in the stockpiles of Material Pallets, Material Transfer Stations, Small Flatbed Cars, and Rooster - Tumblebox Trailers.

Tips

• Due to the relative scarcity of obtaining its raw resource, it is highly recommended for any logi players not planning on constructing Large Ships or Rockets to give them to players who are going to build them, or to store them in places with easy to see Stockpiles.
  • Similar to other facility materials, it must be refined in a facility (more specifically, a Metalworks Factory with a Blast Furnace upgrade.

Trivia

• During the devbranch of 1.54 Naval Warfare, Rare Alloys used to be called Rare Metals. This was later changed from community feedback due to their confusing names.
