- I can imagine a new player reading about the game, reading "bmats" somewhere and not knowing what it means, and looking it up on the wiki.
- Of course, most players will just allchat "what is bmats?" or post the question on discord or somewhere, but "looking things up for yourself" should be encouraged IMHO. 217.24.20.62 07:50, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- The purpose of "bmats" and other related terms is due to the slang used in game. Often new players will hear "bmats" and don't actually know what it means, or don't put 2&2 together. Sir (talk) 16:23, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- I created the page. I decided to do a redirect because then the term "bmats" will show up in search as an autocomplete option and directly go to the Basic Materials page. I also mentioned the alternate name on that page but that was removed :( A page for jargon/slang should also be considered, if there are enough widespread terms to fill it. --217.24.20.62 08:49, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
