Once a checkpoint along the Bulwark in the west, Sableport was later taken over as a base of operations by Jon Barrony. During a period of peace following one of Barrony’s several victories, his constituents settled inside the walls of the base, transforming it into a bustling town. Much of the strategic importance of Sableport lies in its dense woods south of the Bulwark, and the port town of Light’s End.

— Devblog: Spring Update 2023
Sableport is a western map bisected by the Bulwark. The center of the map is occupied by a large, dense forest with movement restricted by mountains and several long stretches of impassable cliff. The major town of Barronhome are nestled within the Bulwark's walls, alongside a Relic Base accompanied by a Keep at The Robin's Nest. The port town of Light's End sits on the coast of a sizeable body of water which the region shares with Ash Fields and Origin, flowing into the Aging Ocean.
Sableport contains of two moderately sized waterways, with one of them being a bay (part of a larger main waterway). Due to its location, Naval Vehicles mostly use this waterway to cross over to other maps, which means they must use land vehicles to move their cargo, or use another region's waterway.
There are no permanent railway structures placed in this region, so player-made tracks are necessary to do train logistics.
Water Wells
There are __ Water Wells located in this region:
Cinderwick - __ of the Town Base
Light's End - ___ of the Town Base
Depending on the frontline, it is advantageous to store filled Water Buckets in order to proactively store water in case of fires. Water Wells are considered as water sources, but they cannot be used to harvest water cans.

Trivia
Unlike recent map expansions, the two new maps introduced in Update 1.53 were slotted into where old maps used to be, and those maps were moved to where two disabled maps used to be. In terms of map repositioning and their location(s) - i.e. new map location replacing old map location:
The town of Light's End was originally located in Endless Shore, before being removed as part of the transition to hexagon-shaped regions in 0.26 War Machine.
