The Silts
The Silts, or Silts, is an area or region located in the country of Nicnevin. It is located in the far north and possibly lies either fully or partially within the Foxhole Universe equivalent of the Artic Circle. It borders the region of Falheim. The Silts is only mentioned once in Foxhole lore and was mentioned in "A Chronicle of Ashes - The Tower: Chapter 1".[1] The region is the primary setting for almost the entirety of "A Chronicle of Ashes - The Tower".[2][3]
Caoiva Theory
The exact political boundaries of The Silts are unknown. While "A Chronicle of Ashes - The Tower" does not explicitly mention Caoiva, it does feature the Wardens in it's third chapter. The Wardens are depicted moving along a road with trucks who then spot the Sorovian patrol of the protagonists and open fire on them. After a lengthy engagement, the Wardens are surrounded and captured by Nevish and/or Sorovian allies. They are described as "turncoats" and were unexpected.[3] Because of this event, it is speculated that The Silts borders Caoiva.
