There's still some unknowns about which bases can be specially deployed to during Frontier Borders. I witnessed bunker bases further than 150m from the border (maybe 250m) being deployable but on another occasion I saw some bunker base very far from the border (>1000m) not being deployable. So if there is a distance requirement it's between 150 and 1000m, pretty hard to test. Maybe it only occurs to newly built base, or base built after the border became contested?
