The Development Branch (also known as Devbranch) is an occasional release by the developers to aid in the testing of an update prior to its official release. These are experimental builds that contains bugs and unfinished features.
Discussions regarding it can be found on the Foxhole Official Discord in the #development-branch channel.
How to Participate
To opt in:
- Go to the BETAS tab on the Foxhole Steam Properties window and select "Development -".
- Update and enter the game
- In the main menu with
Join the Warbutton (before selecting a faction), switch your Shard to DevBranch at top left corner.

How to Remove Devbranch
When you opt-in to a devbranch, you are unable to enter the current war and must uninstall devbranch in order to play it.
To opt out:
- Go to the BETAS tab on the Foxhole Steam Properties window and select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs".
- Update the game
