Trivia

  • Prior to the standardization of equipment, 7.62mm used to separated into clips and magazines.
    • "Magazine" refers to an ammunition container (often detachable in more advanced firearms) that uses a mechanism to feed rounds into the gun's firing chamber when the bolt is operated, while "Clip" refers to a simple device that holds the ammunition in place, either before loading into a magazine or while inside one. While the weapons that accept this ammunition have a variety of visual loading styles, the 7.62mm icon appears to be an en bloc clip.
  • Sniper Rifles used to use 8.5mm ammunition, but was switched to 7.62mm in Update 0.48 for standardization.
