A Prepared Minefieldis a player-built defensive structure designed to upgraded into either an anti-tank minefield or anti-infantry minefield.
Construction
It is dug with a Shovel (150 hits required).
It must be built on ground that isn't too steep. It can't be built on Roads, beaches, bridges, or rocks. Its length is adjustable, up to 9 meters, which changes the amount of placeable mines between 2 and 10. However no matter the length the minefield will always cost 10 mines to be upgraded and its health is always the same so there's little reason to not make it the maximum length.
Demolition
The original builder can instantly demolish it 
if it was built less than 3 hours ago.
Use
Its only use is to be upgraded into a proper minefield, either Abisme AT-99 Minefield or Crow's Foot Minefield using 10 Abisme AT-99 Mines or 10 Crow's Foot Mine.
