Versioning

A medical bunker used to treat critically wounded soldiers at the front line.
In-game description

The Medical Room is a Bunker modification designed to convert Critically Wounded Soldiers into Soldier Supplies and that can act as a Medical Base.

Construction

A Tier 1 Medical Room can be built by modifying any Tier 1 Bunker with a Hammer and 75 Basic Materials.

Use Mouse Scroll Wheel to select the bunker wall where the medical beds will be placed.

Tier 2

A Tier 2 Medical Room can be built by modifying a Tier 2 Bunker or by upgrading an existing Tier 1 Medical Room to Tier 2 with a Hammer and 75 Basic Materials.

Tier 3

A Tier 3 Medical Room can be built by modifying a Tier 3 Bunker or by upgrading an existing Tier 2 Medical Room to Tier 3 and costs 10 Concrete Materials, the latter being cheaper overall as you only need to spend Concrete Materials once. For both cases the Bunker must be connected to a Bunker Base (either through trenches or other bunker pieces) with the Concrete Structures CivicMaterialsIcon.png upgrade.

Concrete Settling:
It must dry off for 24 hours but it already works while wet. The duration increases during Snow Storms and Rain Storms depending on their intensity (up to double with highest intensity).

While very sturdy when dry, it is vulnerable while still wet. The vulnerability depends on how wet the concrete is and functions as a damage multiplier. Wet concrete that's just been placed has a x10 damage multiplier compared to dry concrete. After 8 hours the damage multiplier is roughly x3, and x2 after 12 hours.

Structural Integrity

The Medical Room modification decrease the Structural Integrity of its Bunker Network: significantly if Tier 1, slightly if Tier 2, very slightly if Tier 3.

Destruction

It is immune to Friendly Fire but it can be flagged for "Disruptive Structure Placement" BtRemove.png to remove the immunity (10 "votes" needed). Bunkers in the same Bunker Network are also immune.

Reconstruction

When destroyed, the Medical Room leaves behind a "husk" that can be destroyed or rebuilt. Reconstruction uses the same tool and materials as the current tier's construction and has the same requirements. It cannot be rebuilt if an enemy base is less than 25m away. The reconstruction restores all small modifications and infrastructure modifications installed inside.

Use

You can access its interface when on foot inside the Bunker by pressing E.

Bunker Access

The Medical Room comes with a built-in ladder to get in or out of the Bunker. The ladder cannot be removed.

Hospital

Despite its name, it does NOT offer any way to heal a player's injuries.

Critically Wounded Soldiers can be transfered into its inventory on foot by pressing V or by clicking the "Submit Large Item" BtSubmitLargeItem.png button in the structure's menu.

Critically Wounded Soldiers in the inventory can be submitted into one of the 4 alloted beds of the Hospital section with the "Submit Patient" BtSubmitPatient.png button for them to recover. Each patient recovers independently and recovery takes 10 minutes. The recovery of the latest patient can be canceled and the Critically Wounded Soldier put back in the inventory by pressing the "Retrieve Patient" BtRetrievePatient.png button. This only works if at least one patient is not fully recovered.

A Recovered Patient can be converted into 4 Soldier Supplies by clicking the "Retrieve Supplies" BtRetrieveSoldierSupply.png button once. The supplies appear in the structure's inventory.

Each Recovered Patient kept in bed counts as 4 "Respawn Supplies" for respawning purposes.

Medical Base

It can serve as a Medical Base where player can set their "medical" spawn by clicking the Assign Spawn Point BtSetSpawn.png button so that they can respawn there after death if the Medical Room has Respawn Supplies left.

Storage

It has a stockpile that can hold medical equipments and Medic Uniforms. In the interface you can view the Stockpile Actions Log BtLog.png to check what was added and retrieved from the stockpile.
