This article is considered accurate for the current version (1.60) of Foxhole.
A short-range firearm that has origins in both sport shooting and bird hunting. Its long stock and sturdy undercarriage give the Dragonfly stability and control that make it a worthy companion to many Kraunian soldiers deployed in urban centres. Dismantling haphazard barricades and clearing tight rooms are paltry tasks for the KRF1-750 Dragonfly.
In-game description

The KRF1-750 Dragonfly (simply known as a Dragonfly) is a close-to-medium range Colonial Shotgun that uses Buckshot shells as ammunition.

Description

It is a Colonial pump-action primary weapon that fires Buckshot. It has very high damage (75-112 Light Kinetic SubtypeSBIcon.png), medium range (20m effective, 30m max), slow fire rate (40 rounds/min), and a 6-round magazine. It kills in a single shot one-third of the time within its effective range, but loses most of its power past 25m. As a shotgun, its shot is unique. Unlike most firearms that determine a hit by tracing a narrow line toward the target, it takes the form of a cylinder with a 0.50m radius that can pass through multiple soldiers to simulate a multi-pellet ammunition. Anything within this cylinder will take the shotgun’s full listed damage.

Shouldering the weapon to aim can be particularly slow when low on Stamina.

The Soldier Uniform reduces its weight by 25%.

It does not stack in the player's inventory (1 per slot).

Storage

It does not stack in structure or vehicle inventories (1 per slot). It can only be stored in the stockpile of Bases (32k max).
Crates of KRF1-750 Dragonfly can be directly submitted to any item stockpile that accepts that item to transfer their content. The crates can also be stored in the crate stockpiles of Storage Depots (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Seaports (1000 public, 100 per Reserve Stockpile), Shipping Containers (60), or Storage Ships (1000).
It can be transported by almost any vehicle with inventory slots. However it is much more efficient to transport it in bulk amounts as crates, either delivering them to a Base's stockpile with a Truck or to a crate stockpile with shipping vehicles carrying Shipping Containers.

Trivia

  • The KRF1-750 Dragonfly is most likely based on the Winchester Model 1897, as the silhouette is quite reminiscent of the real weapon. One of the differences being the length of the wooden stock compared to the real life counterpart.
  • Despite being based on the Winchester Model 1897, it is not possible to slamfire the Dragonfly for the fire-rates that the 'trench-gun' it is based on is known for.
