- Something on the wiki is factually wrong. Where do I report it?
- Good news! You don't actually have to report it anywhere because any registered wiki.gg user is free to edit all content pages on Foxhole Wiki. Simply just create an account by visiting registration page and if you have a fandom account you can even claim it afterwards. There you go! Start contributing, fix typos, correct the numbers, write tactics, create guides, upload images, help to make this a better place than you found!
- If you are not ready for it yet, that is okay. We will be waiting for you. In the meantime you may use corresponding talk page (which is the "Discussion" button on top of the page) or join Foxhole Official Wiki Discord and tell us about the issue.
- Why is there another Foxhole wiki? Which one should I use? Why don't you delete the other one?
- After a consensus, the Official Foxhole Wiki has been migrated/forked to Wiki.gg on November 26, 2022 with all of it's administrators, editors and contributors. Due to how licensing work, noone but the service provider can actually shut the old wiki down and we are not concerned about existence of the old wiki. If you are getting search results from the old wiki more often, you may want to install Wiki.gg redirection extension.
- Can I join Foxhole Wiki team? Which faction are you playing?
- Foxhole Wiki is the product of collaboration of many contributors coming from diverse groups. There is not a single centralized group. You are encouraged to join Foxhole Official Wiki Discord for better cooperation, though.
- I want to contribute to Foxhole wiki but I don't know how to edit the wiki. Can you help me on that?
- Sure thing. MediaWiki Help's Editing section does a very well job on explaining pretty much every question the most will have. You may especially want to see guide for VisualEditor which is also available on Foxhole Wiki by default. If you wish to use Source Editor to format wiki text, you may want to see Help:Formatting to learn more about formatting on Source Editor. This shall cover the basics but if you are wondering about total extension of Foxhole Wiki, you may want to check Templates, Magic words, ParserFunctions Extension, Cargo.
- Is there a list of pages that could use some help?
Yes. Pages marked with corresponding templates will appear in these categories. You may want to concentrate your effort on cleaning these page up first.

- When I try to edit some texts, it reads like {{VehicleRecipeOutput|{{PAGENAME}}}}, why is that and how can I edit them?
- Foxhole Wiki uses Cargo extension to store information on database and utilizes these stored data to interpret recipe input/outputs, health/damage etc on various other pages. To have a complete understanding of which templates utilizes which data, you need to go to corresponding template page and see the template yourself, then you will find source page for that data and you may edit it there. These may be infoboxes on individual pages or dedicated data pages.
- How can I upload an image?
- Visit this page and follow the instructions. Make sure that you've specified license of the file. Add the file to the corresponding category. e.g.
[[Category:Vehicle images]]
- Can I upload multiple images?
- You can enable UploadMultipleFiles gadget on Preferences page for uploading multiple files.
- How can I delete an image or a page?
- To mark files or pages for deletion, edit the page in question and add
{{Delete}}template anywhere on the page and save. Actual deletion of any file or page can be performed by only Foxhole Wiki administrators and Wiki.gg staff.
