It must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structure IconFilterWeaponsStructures.png Tech Tree in order to be produced.

Reservation

It can be reserved for a Squad BtReserve.png to prevent non-members from modifying it, however it doesn't prevent packaging and the stockpile access is not restricted.

Destruction

It is immune to Friendly Fire.

Structure Event Log

In its interface you can click the "View Actions Log" button BtLog.png to view a list of recent events, with timestamps and player names displayed. Among the events listed are when a construction is started, halted, or finished. The log only displays the last 128 events (8 pages). It is also cleared if packaged and unpackaged.

Uses

It can be interacted either on foot or while driving a logistic vehicle by pressing E.

Construction Assistance

It automatically builds the friendly Build Site of structures or vehicles within 5m of its construction arm if it has the required materials in its materials stockpile and some Gravel in its fuel stockpile. It can help build any Build Site (even structure upgrades or vehicles) that costs Basic Materials, Concrete Materials, Construction Materials, Processed Construction Materials, Gravel, or shoveling (e.g. Trenches). The only exceptions are Stationary Harvesters, Oil Well, Construction Vehicles, and Cranes.

When active, the construction arm repeats an animation where it seems to grab resources from the hopper, rotates to reach the target Build Site, and dump the resource on it. Each animation cycle consumes 1 Gravel of fuel and submits 1 materials into the Build Site. The animation cycles, and thus the actual construction, are faster if the construction arm needs to rotate less to reach the target. As such the Construction Equipment's position relative to the target Build Site is important.

Storage

It has a fuel stockpile that can hold up to 1500 Gravel and nothing else. The amount stockpiled can be visually seen in the small hopper on the Construction Equipment model.

It has a materials stockpile that can hold up to 1500 items and only accepts Basic Materials, Concrete Materials (60 max), Construction Materials, Processed Construction Materials (60 max), and Gravel

In its interface, you can press the Stockpile Actions Log BtLog.png button to view the logs of items retrieved from and submitted to the stockpiles.

Transport

As a medium-sized shippable, it can be packaged but only if its inventory is empty and if there are no items stored in a personal production orders' input or output slots. Once packaged, it can be lifted by a Crane and placed on any Shipping Vehicle for transport. While on a vehicle you cannot interact with it. You will require another crane at your destination to lift the container from the vehicle. To unpackage it simply press E.

When empty it can be stored at a Storage Depot or Seaport.

Like every other player made structures, it can decay after a while if left on the ground.
