Bunker Supplies, also known as BSupps, are a type of supplies that prevents decay only for Bunker pieces and Trenches. They are not directly used in combat.

Description

Bunker Supplies are a type of supplies that prevents structural decay when stored in a Stockpile. They function similarly to Garrison Supplies, but only prevents decay for Bunker pieces and Trenches. For bunker pieces, the bunker section itself will be maintained, while any upgrades/add-ons, like sandbags and barbed wire, won't be maintained, and will decay over time. If a base has both Garrison and Bunker Supplies in its Stockpile, the Garrison Supplies will be consumed first, followed by the Bunker Supplies.

You can check a base's current Bunker Supplies consumption by hovering your mouse over the tiny icons in the top right corner of the Base menu. If a particular supply type is currently preventing decay and getting consumed the text will say "On" rather than "Off" (If both Garrison Supplies and Bunker Supplies are present with in the Stockpile, both will say "On", while only consuming/preventing decay one of them).

They cannot prevent the fast decay of structures within 150 meters of a region border (also known as the Rapid Decay Zone).

Production

Bunker Supplies can only be produced in a Factory under the 'Supplies' category.

Garrison Supplies must be fully researched in the Weapons and Structures Tech Tree

Tactics

Bunker Supplies are extremely useful in preventing decay for Bunkers, especially large ones, where minor structures like barbed wire can drastically increase maintenance costs. Using Bsupps can drastically reduce the costs, and making sure that only the extremely vital pieces (AKA bunker garrisons and pieces) are maintained.

If a structure is decaying, it is beneficial to the faction to obtain any type of Supplies and provide the Base with it, especially if it's a concrete Bunker Complex with Howitzer Garrisons. This will benefit the whole faction as it helps maintain tough defenses if the enemy faction gains ground and reaches that point.

NOTE: Be aware what structures you have nearby, as important structures (such as emplaced Artillery) will begin to decay, as Bsupps do not prevent decay for those types of structures.

Trivia

• Bunker Supplies used to coexisted with 'Garrison Supplies' (now called Maintenance Supplies) in maintaining various player-made structures in Foxhole
• When Update 1.52 was released, and the decay and maintenance system was reworked, which overhauled the system and introduced a new way of maintenance
  • Bsupps were removed from the game, while Garrison Supplies were renamed into Maintenance Supplies

NOTE: The primary reason why decay mechanics were introduced was to prevent the servers from imploding. Due to the Game Engine, if there are too many objects within a server, game performance will begin to suffer.
