Anti-tank minefield designed with a heavy payload for disabling enemy vehicles. Only visible when nearby.
In-game description

An Abisme AT-99 Minefieldis a player-built defensive structure designed to stop the advance of enemy armoured vehicles through an area.

Construction

It is built by upgrading a Prepared Minefield with 10 Abisme AT-99 mines.

Use

Each mine on the field detonates when an armoured vehicle gets close to it, inflicting the same damage as a standalone Abisme AT-99. After exploding the space where the mine was can be safely crossed. Unlike standalone AT Mines, the mines on the field cannot be dismantled with a Wrench.

The amount of mines remaining on the field is linked to its health. With a 10-mine field, each mine detonation will remove 10% of health. If the field takes 50% damage from outside sources it will lose five mines. The field is destroyed if all mines are detonated. The field's health and its missing mines can be replenished by repairing it with a Hammer and Basic Materials or automatically over time via the decay prevention mechanic of Bases and Maintenance Tunnel.

Visibility

Unlike standalone mines, players on foot can only see an AT minefield if they are less than 35 meters from it. It cannot be spotted from afar with Binoculars. Players inside vehicles cannot see Abisme AT-99 Minefields even from up close.

Resistance

Minefields are very resistant to most Damage Types except High Explosive (Artillery) and Demolition.

Tactics

A field can be destroyed with just 2 Hydra's Whispers or 3 Alligator Charges. A single charge placed between two adjacent minefields can trigger 4 mines on each field thus creating a wide enough path for any vehicle to cross.
